Ocean State Community Electricity is a new program designed to help North Kingstown residents and businesses manage electricity supply costs and provide options for renewable energy use. The program is being offered to the community via the Town of North Kingstown’s selected consultant, Good Energy. For background on the town’s development of this program please see the Timeline.

Future savings cannot be guaranteed. The additional Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) qualify for RI New designation and come only from solar, wind, anaerobic digestion and low impact hydro. RECs are the accepted legal instrument used to track renewable energy generation and to substantiate claims of renewable energy use. Learn more about the product details and renewable energy content here.

If you do not receive a letter, you will not be automatically enrolled. You may join the program by submitting a request to enroll here.
